Description
A traditionally forged and fully functional woodworkers holdfast similar in style to the French “Roubo” holdfast. This tool drops into a 3/4″ hole hole in your work bench and with the tap of a mallet becomes a strong clamp. With a second tap of the mallet on the back of the tool, the spring releases. These are often purchased as sets of two for versatility on the bench.
These holdfast are forged to fit a 3/4 inch hole in a workbench approx. 2 inches thick. Slight variations in these measurements will still work, however, if you have a question about your specific needs don’t hesitate to reach out.
